Springtime sweater

As you all are well aware, I am currently a Virginia resident and although we are deep into Spring, the outside temperature can still be pretty cool. So, for me a lightweight and bright colored sweater is a great option. 

This week I am back at The Pagoda in downtown Norfolk and its peaceful setting is perfect for a Spring shoot. I know most people don't consider sweaters a Spring clothing item, but its perfect in areas where the  temperatures haven't yet peaked. The secret is to get a lightweight cotton sweater. Many stores keep bring these out around this time and the color options are vast. I decided to wear yellow for this shoot and I really like how the color popped in all the photos. When you go out shopping, try on a few different colors and see which ones stand out best on you. 

Overall, this week's look is a yellow sweater and Aiden chinos from Banana Republic, the loafers are from Cole Haan, the watch is Timex with a brown leather band to match the shoes and the bracelets are from Charming Chappell's.
