Memorial Day Style

Memorial Day is on the horizon and for us in the United States, this marks the unofficial beginning of summer. For the dapper gents, it is the perfect time to break out your all white slacks and pair them with an amazing blazer. 

Like the last couple weeks I am collaborating with the amazing brand MS Shoe Designs and I am featuring a pair of their shoes and some accessories. The MS Shoe Design pieces are the black single monk strap shoe, black matching belt and the black duffle bag. 

I am very much aware of the old saying that you're not supposed to wear white before Memorial Day or after Labor Day, which makes white the ultimate summer color. I don't particularly agree with the the timeframe restrictions, but I will agree that white is a great summer time color. Referring back to my last post, another important thing to consider when picking your summer outfit is the fabric. So, this week's warm weather fabric is cotton. Since I am expecting it to be warm during the Memorial Day weekend, I chose not to wear a tie but still decided to top it off with a nice Fedora. 

This week's look is especially special to me because it features pieces from my signature line the Dapper Luq Collection.

Overall, this week's look features a blue and white checkered double breasted blazer and white slacks from the Dapper Luq Collection, light blue dress shirt, shoes, belt and bag from MS Shoe Designs and the hat is from .

We are still dealing with COVID-19 and Coronavirus, so I want you all to stay indoors when possible and avoid large gatherings during this time. Hopefully we get back to what we all consider normal soon and you will have some great new wardrobe pieces that you want to  showoff.
