All across America, people are gearing up for the last week of summer. Labor Day weekend marks the end of summer and the beginning of fall. Additionally, if your a parent like me, it also marks the start of school. As I bid farewell to summer, I would like to leave you with the official suit of summer, the seersucker. Seersucker is a light fabric made of linen, cotton and rayon. It was a popular fabric in many warm climate British colonies in the British colonial period. When it was introduced to the United States, seersucker was a staple item for gentlemen in the South.
