I am often asked, how do you maintain the dapper look in the warmer months? My answer is, as the temperature changes and gets warmer, your fabrics should change as well. The most common warm weather fabrics for gentlemen are cotton, seersucker, linen and chambray. Each of the fabrics are light weight, breathable, and come in a variety of colors. I've never been afraid to wear unique colors, so I love the options. Additionally, this is the time you want to loosen up that collar and lose the tie. This week I was able to work with the very talented photographer Dora Breaux. Dora has a great eye for fashion and we had an amazing photography session in downtown Virginia Beach.
This week's look features the lightweight fabrics cotton and linen. I wanted to also mix in some unique colors so I used light blue and brown as my base colors. The look was put together using one of my new sponsor's Upscale Men's Fashion. The cotton pants are Ralph Lauren, the linen shirt and blazer are both Inserch, and the suede shoes are Johnston and Murphy. Luqman Haskett ~Dapper Luq Photography by Dora Breaux
