I have been off the grid for the past two weeks and all I could think about was this blog. Two weeks ago I introduced one of the essential suits that everyman should have. This week I am showcasing another basic suit that has tons of options and potential. The khaki suit is another one of my favorite suits because it is so comfortable and very versatile. The one thing I will warn you of is there tendency to wrinkle.
Again for this shoot I was able to go back home to Baltimore and work with a friend that is making a name for himself in both film and photography, David Manigault. Shot in the Canton area of the city, we got up early Sunday and shot for a couple of hours in a park near the harbor.
The simple yet clean look of Khaki is perfect for that Sunday stroll. As always I tried to liven up the outfit with my socks and kept the accessories light. For me accessories add another element but they should be simple and not take away from the clean look of the suit.
Happy Labor Day to all, the website has received a lot of attention and people really like what I am doing. This week I wanted to take a step back and go over some basics. I was able to go home and shoot some amazing photos with a really talented artist, David Manigault.
As you can tell by my previous posts, I love suits. I have many different colors and styles, but if you are just starting your suit collection I suggest a grey suit. The grey suit can be worn with black or brown shoes and it can be worn either as a whole or each piece can be worn as a separate. Basically, it is one of the most versatile suits you can purchase and it is great for those looking to start their suit collection.
